Housekeeper The Housekeeper position is a seasonal part time position at Camp Henry, beginning in April and ending in mid-October.The Housekeeper's primary responsibility is to clean and maintain the facilities at Camp Henry to help provide outstanding experiences for all of our campers and guests.Position Description:The Housekeeper is a valued member of the Camp Henry family, and plays a vital role in carrying out its mission of creating life-changing experiences for all in a Christian environment.Daily responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning camp facilities.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Keep all facilities and cabins clean and maintained Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Clean and stock restrooms Notify facility staff members of necessary repairs Collect and dispose of trash Assist campers and guests as needed Clean up spills and remove stains Maintaining Tour Ready and Like New Always standards Qualifications:Ability to work independently; self-motivated and self-directed Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Ability to practice sound decision making, problem solving, and effective communication Ability to follow both written and verbal directions in completing tasks Ability to consistently meet quality standards Dependable and reliable Attention to detail Desire to strive for continuous improvement Schedule:The Housekeeper position is a seasonal part time position, beginning in April and ending in mid-October.Weekly hours can range from 12 to 26 hours per week.(20-26 hours per week during June, July, and early August.12-16 hours per week during April, May, late August, September, October) June, July, and early August require full-day on Saturday and part-day shift on Sunday mornings, along with weekday morning shifts.April, May, late August, September, and October days and hours include weekends and will vary according to Camp Henry's needs based guest group schedules.Work Environment:Frequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, squatting, and reaching is required, as well as the ability to repeat motions (scrubbing, mopping, etc.), and carry 25 lbs.Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals, with personal protective equipment available.At times, a golf cart may be used to transport supplies.While duties are completed primarily indoors, travel outdoors between spaces is required during all seasons.Compensation:Work Expectation:Ideally 12 - 26 hours per week.Compensation:$15.00/hour Experience:Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required Pay:$15.00 per hour Application Question(s):Are you willing to work weekends and evenings as needed?
