Why You'll Love Working With Us At Elderhaus, you'll be part of a supportive team centered on compassion, dignity, and meaningful service.We offer a positive work environment, comprehensive benefits, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact in the lives of older adults in our community.What You'll Do As our Custodian, you will:Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walkways, windows, and furnishings Disinfect surfaces and respond promptly to spills or sanitation needs Support event setup and breakdown as needed Safely operate and maintain cleaning and floor-care equipment Manage waste removal and recycling Maintain supply inventories and ensure storage areas are organized Follow all infection control, safety, and confidentiality procedures Promote a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility What We're Looking For Required:Valid driver's license Preferred:High school diploma or equivalent Experience in custodial or janitorial work, especially in healthcare or school settings Skills that help you succeed:Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and efficiently Good communication and teamwork Basic maintenance or floor-care knowledge is a plus Physical & Work Environment This role requires regular standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varied indoor conditions.Custodians play an essential role in maintaining safety, cleanliness, and comfort throughout our PACE Center.Why EveryAge?
