Housekeeper

This position works Monday-Friday 8a.m.-2p.m.Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in our 29 bed CBRF Assisted Living Community.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and custodial services, with experience in hospitality or janitorial roles.This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visiotors.The Housekeeper plays a vital role in ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation across all areas.Duties Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, public spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces Maintain cleanliness of floors through proper care techniques such as sweeping, scrubbing, and applying floor finishes when necessary Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly to ensure safety and quality standards are upheld Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly Adhere to established protocols for infection control and sanitation standards Experience Prior experience in assisted living housekeeping, custodial services preferred.Experience with hospitality environments or housecleaning management can be advantageous Familiarity with cleaning tools and chemicals used in commercial or residential settings is preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team Previous experience in housekeeping roles that require maintaining high cleanliness standards will be considered an asset Pay:$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
