We are currently seeking positive, compassionate and reliable full/part time Housekeepers to make a difference in our Residents' lives.We currently need full-time, part time, evenings, early morning or day shift - flexible schedules! Essential Job Duties:Performs general housekeeping/laundry duties in the community such as:resident rooms, restrooms, beauty shop, offices and all common areas.Assists in thorough cleaning of patient rooms.Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.Other Duties:Follows approved infection control procedures.Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper order.Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.Qualifications:Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.Ability to move 25 pounds.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:Moderate to heavy physical effort 95% of the work day.Must be able to stand and walk long distances up to 8 hours per day.Must be able to stoop and work from a kneeling position, perform repetitive bending, reaching and stretching.Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.independently.Must be able to push and/or pull wheeled carts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.over tiled and carpeted surfaces over long distances.Must be able to operate a vacuum, work in confined spaces around furniture and breakable objects, and have constant contact with residents.May be exposed to communicable diseases including influenza, HIV and Hepatitis.May be exposed to unpleasant odors, high heat levels, and institutional cleaning chemicals.EOE.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Ability to Relocate:Cincinnati, OH 45231:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
