Job Overview:We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry/Linen Employees to join our team.As a Housekeeper/Laundry/Linen Employees, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our residents.Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas - Dust furniture, vacuum , and mop floors to ensure a clean and tidy appearance - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners - Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products - Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, such as window washing , bed wash, curtains - Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment - Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel - Adhere to housekeeping schedules and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred, but not required - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including some lifting and standing for extended periods of time - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Sorts soiled laundry according to departmental procedures for handling linen and for infection control. Keeps soiled articles covered until ready to process. Loads appropriate amount of laundry into washing machine and dispenses correct amount of detergent. Maintains separation between soiled and clean laundry. Operates laundry equipment according to manufacturer's instructions. Utilizes personal protective equipment according to departmental policies and procedures. Follows all safety information and procedures when using chemical compounds.Refers to product labels and SDS for information. Inspects laundry item by item and reports wear and damage to supervisor. Returns clean laundry and linens to units.Stocks linen carts and closets.Notifies supervisor of any difficulty in meeting units' needs for laundry.Places laundry carts in proper position on units.
