Job Description
Clean hotel rooms Wears appropriate uniform and name tag Thoroughly cleans all guest rooms and areas assigned Responsible for proper usage of all supplies and equipment Communicates with Housekeeping Department regarding clean and available rooms Reports any damage, missing items or maintenance needs in all assigned rooms Stocks cart with appropriate linen and supplies in a neat and organized condition Responsible for all keys issued and follows all key control policies Turns in all lost and found items as according to company policy Reports any unusual/suspicious activity immediately Ensures that cart is pulled in next to room in front of door Does not give out guest room numbers or let guests into rooms Utilizes conservation measures such as use of thermostats and lights Promotes positive guest and employee relations Maintains stockrooms and breakrooms in a neat, clean and organized condition Acknowledges guest with a pleasant smile and appropriate greeting Prepares necessary work orders for maintenance Follows all company policies and procedures Performs any other duty as assigned by management QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Lifting required Wears closed toe rubber sole shoes Requires frequent bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and wiping Stands and walks during majority of shift Handles chemical cleaners Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Reliability and honesty essential Hotel experience preferred I have read and understand the job description presented to me.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$20.05 - $24.15 per hour Work Location:In person.
