Classified-Exempt PositionParks and Recreation/Blackwater Falls State Park Under direct supervision, performs work in the housekeeping department at Blackwater Falls State Park. This position's primary duties are in the cabin housekeeping department which is responsible for the cleaning and preparation for rental of 39 guest cabins. Assigned duties may include all areas of the housekeeping department-including a 51-room lodge, campground, public spaces, and public restrooms. To complete duties, at times, it requires being outside during inclement weather including ice, snow, and extreme cold conditions. Responsible for cleaning overnight guest's facilities as well as other public spaces in the park. Duties shall include dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, gathering garbage, cleaning both guest restroom, guest cabins, and public restrooms, preparing guests rooms including making beds and exchanging linens, sorting and folding linens.
