Join our Team! We are seeking a dependable Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. This role is responsible for daily cleaning and sanitation throughout the facility while following infection control and safety standards. New Day Recovery is a premier treatment center in Niles, Ohio, dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery. Our housekeeping staff play a vital role in that journey. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing client rooms, offices, and common areas, including use of professional floor scrubbing equipment and deep-cleaning procedures. Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and high-touch surfaces Safely handle waste, soiled linens, and cleaning materials in accordance with OSHA and facility guidelines Monitor and restock housekeeping supplies Report maintenance or repair concerns promptly Follow all safety and emergency procedures QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to pass BCI/FBI background check and pre-employment drug screen Previous housekeeping, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team Floor scrubbing equipment experience is a plus BENEFITS: Medical, dental and vision benefit programs 100% company paid life insurance plan Paid Time Off (PTO) begins accruing immediately upon first day of work EOE/DFWP
