Primary Objective of Position To maximize guest satisfaction by providing clean, fully functional guestrooms in a timely and friendly manner.To embrace the values of the Company Culture and Guiding Principles.Major Areas of Accountability 1.Ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning guestrooms and corridors daily according to operational policies and standards.Tasks include but are not limited to Remove soiled bed and bath linens and replace as required.Remove trash from room as required.Clean bathroom and bedroom area.Replenish room amenities.Report any maintenance issues.Turn in articles left in room for Lost & Found handling.Smile and greet guests when you come in contact with them.Report unusual circumstances to Supervisor.Complete assigned projects.Completion of guest room cleaning within the hotels standard and allotted time for each room.2.Maximize job efficiency by maintaining and organizing supply cart, supply closet and vacuum cleaner.Stock supply cart correctly.Check stock daily.Notify Supervisor immediately if any stock shortages exist.Pull damaged or rewash linen and return to Laundry Department.3.Ensure safety and maximum security.Employee areas must have doors shut and locked when unoccupied.Never open guest rooms for anyone.Refer guests to Front Desk to obtain a key.Practice chemical use safely.4.Ensure the property consistently maintains a clean, hospitable and professional environment.Adhere to hotels standards of operation.Maintain safe and secure environment for guests and associates.Maintain a clean, pleasant and professional image to the guests.Courteously and promptly respond to guests requests.5.General job performance requirements.Associate may need to work in other areas when needed to assist operations to preform job duties not necessarily contained in this job.Keep Supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.Perform all duties in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain a favorable work relationship with all other company associates to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work climate.Request assistance as needed.Requires strong attention to detail.Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with guests and team members.At all times project a favorable image of the hotel to the public.6.General physical requirements.The following are the customary physical efforts required to perform the essential functions of this job with or without accommodations.Must be able to move continuously during work hours and be able to lift andor carry 50 pounds.Ability to bend, lift, kneel and be in motion for the full work day.Communicate, converse, discern, convey, discuss.Stand for extended periods of time.Education andor Experience Highschool or equivalent preferred.
