Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes and commercial establishments. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service while ensuring that all areas are kept clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors to maintain their appearance. Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously. Assist in housekeeping management tasks when required, including training new staff members on cleaning protocols. Conduct carpet cleaning as needed to maintain the quality of carpets in residential or commercial spaces. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or residential cleaning is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required. Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving furniture.
