Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Worker to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks across commercial and residential spaces.Your efforts will ensure that our facilities are spotless, well-maintained, and inviting for all visitors, residents, or clients.This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere while developing valuable skills in cleaning, maintenance, and facilities upkeep.Duties Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including floors, restrooms, lobbies, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance Carry out janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards Assist with custodial responsibilities in residential or commercial settings, ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness expectations Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for equipment or infrastructure issues Engage in industrial cleaning projects when required to handle larger-scale or specialized cleaning tasks Maintain cleanliness records and ensure compliance with safety protocols during all cleaning activities Requirements Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work within commercial or residential environments Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus Certification or training in custodial services or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory Join us as a Housekeeping Worker and be part of a team dedicated to creating clean, safe environments that leave lasting positive impressions!
