Beach Street Inn & Suites is seeking a motivated and energetic Houseman to join our hospitality team.In this vital role, you will ensure our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation by performing a variety of cleaning, maintenance, and custodial tasks.Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for all guests.Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing using appropriate floor care techniques and equipment Assist with moving furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed to support housekeeping operations Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests Conduct routine inspections of common areas to identify maintenance or cleanliness issues and report them promptly Support janitorial duties including waste removal, window cleaning, and detailed surface sanitation Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures in accordance with hospitality industry standards Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly desirable Strong understanding of cleanliness standards in both hotel environments and industrial cleaning contexts Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Join us as a Houseman and be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences through meticulous cleanliness and welcoming service!
