Location: Gloucester, MA, 01930 Skills Required: Housekeeping Public Area Houseman Job Description: The Houseman will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas in the hotel. This includes but is not limited to lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms. The Houseman will also assist with housekeeping duties as needed, such as cleaning guest rooms and restocking supplies. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and public area maintenance, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Houseman responsibilities cleaning common areas front entrance lobby public restrooms pool area guest hallways meeting rooms Set up/breakdown of event spaces Trash removal from interior/exterior Sweeping of the parking lot Watering of property flowers Window washing Assisting parking lot attendants, maintenance, housekeeping, and restaurant staff Guest luggage service Assistance with deliveries Bag ice and maintain stock in property freezers for retail Perform other duties as required by management Requirements Demonstrate good customer service skills Complete tasks in a timely manner Perform daily duties with limited supervision Will be required to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds (sometimes upstairs) Interact with guests in a professional/helpful manner
