Houseman/Maintenance

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Houseman/Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cleaning and maintenance and repair work, ensuring that all equipment is operating efficiently and the public areas of the hotel are clean. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Perform maintenance repairs in the hotel guest rooms and public spaces, as needed Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and cleaning activities Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests. Clean public area of the hotel; lobby, laundry room, fitness center, vacuum hallway carpets, take out trash Skills Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems and equipment. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients. Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
