Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Houseman to join our team at the New London Inn and Inn at Pleasant Lake.In this vital role, you will be the backbone of maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment for our guests and employees.Your energy and attention to detail will ensure that all areas of the property are spotless, well-organized, and inviting.This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-standard hospitality experience by providing exceptional custodial and housekeeping support.If you thrive in fast-paced settings and take pride in creating a comfortable atmosphere, we want to hear from you! Duties Handle all laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. Perform thorough cleaning of public spaces, hallways, and service areas. Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces as needed, including furniture arrangement and surface cleaning. Support housekeeping management by restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly. Assist housekeeping with the removal of trash and linens from vacant rooms. Qualifications Previous experience with hotel or hospitality environments highly preferred but not required Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, walking up and down stairs, and prolonged standing Ability to lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.Join our team and contribute to creating a clean and inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for our guests!
