Employee Winter/ Summer Season Pass Reciprocal Skiing/ Mountain Biking at Area Resorts Free Buddy Ski/Lift Passes Food and Beverage Discounts Free Employee Shuttle Discounts on Skiing/ Mountain Biking Lessons Retail and Rental Discounts Lodging Discounts Off Mountain in Town Discounts at Retailers, Restaurants, and more!To view a complete list of Employee Perks, please visit our website.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned.Clean walkways and deck areas.Carry garbage and linens to and from lodges.Use proper care in handling and operating equipment.Help maintain inventory of housekeeping items and inform lead houseman of needed supplies.Assist housekeepers and other housemen to ensure that all lodging rooms and public areas will be available for guests to check in at 4:00 p.m.Assist housekeepers with heavier housekeeping tasks.Keep housekeeping vehicle clean at all times.Assist in any bellman duties lodging may need.Some job sharing may be required.Stock closets after lunch and before going home.Stocking and removing pool towels.Putting linen order away.Put cleaning caddies and rag bags out.Pull cart and vacuums out.Check vacuum bags.RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and resort guests at all times.Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resort's Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals.Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others.Drive in accordance with the law and resort policies.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.WORK SCHEDULE Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week.This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours.Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Prior custodial or housekeeping experience preferred.High school diploma or General Education Degree.LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract , multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Able to accurately read and make measurements, such as amount of cleaning solution to use, proportions, percentages, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met and may be encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.The employee frequently is required to stand and taste or smell.The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.Reaso
