Job Description
Job title: HR Assistant Location: Los Angeles California 90033 United States Onsite role Monday-Friday Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Language Requirement: Bilingual Spanish required Position Overview The HR Assistant serves as the main point of contact for the Human Resources Department, supporting a wide range of administrative and HR functions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Day-to-Day Duties: Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries Answer and route phone calls, emails, and internal requests Manage HR documentation, including status changes, check requests, and employee records Support payroll-related processes such as employee updates, timesheet corrections, and wage replacements Maintain inventory and distribute equipment (laptops, headsets, webcams, gate keys, etc.) Handle employment verification requests Perform confidential data entry and typing assignments Complete general administrative tasks (mail sorting, filing, ordering supplies) Assist with Wellness Committee activities, events, and meetings Process union medical reimbursements and uniform distribution Support recruitment, onboarding, and other HR functions as needed Collaborate with providers and staff; provider onboarding support may transition to a manager in the future Perform additional duties as assigned Required Skills & Experience Strong administrative background Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments and stakeholders Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment Strong typing and communication skills Experience interacting with staff and healthcare providers Proficiency in ADP, Canva, and Excel Preferred Experience Previous HR experience in a community clinic or healthcare setting
