Associate Directors are expected to put in a minimum of 10 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 36 hours. SUMMARY: Save the Water™ is seeking a candidate for Associate Director of Human Resources, who works with all of our volunteers, across all of our groups and disciplines to support their operations. This includes overseeing all HR teams: Engagement & Development, Recruitment & Job Processing, and Shared Service Center. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the HR Director in all matters related to managing all the different functions within HR Oversee department of an average of 20-25 volunteers and interns. Interview Volunteer Candidates and provide training for new human resources volunteers. Provide ongoing coaching and assistance for active human resources volunteers Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; and maintaining records. Complete human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; and following up on work results. Maintain human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Communicate with HR on open positions, hiring and resignation processes, and other procedures as requested. Align the human resources group’s objectives and goals to STW™’s objectives and goals and chalk out a quarterly, bi-annual, and annual strategy roadmap for the group. Have a development plan for your direct reportees and encourage a culture of learning and engagement. Manage and keep HR documentation and policies updated. Keep the personnel files under proper maintenance by creating a
