As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in managing critical leave of absence and accommodation programs, ensuring fairness, support, and adherence to legal standards. Your ability to interpret policies, resolve intricate cases, and collaborate with various stakeholders will be crucial in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace. In this role, you will provide essential support for leave of absence, accommodations, and disability plans and programs. You will be responsible for all aspects of leave administration, accommodations, and disability support, including researching and resolving complex case escalations through direct interactions with employees, managers, and vendors. You will partner closely with internal teams, such as the HR contact center, Legal, and Payroll, as well as third-party vendors, to ensure efficient and scalable administration of benefit programs. Key Responsibilities:** Manage and administer disability, leave of absence (continuous and intermittent), return-to-work, and accommodation programs, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Act as a primary liaison between employees and third-party disability/leave of absence vendors, facilitating seamless program execution. Ensure proper integration of vendor-managed FMLA administration with short-term disability plans. Interpret evolving HR policies and legislative developments to maintain program compliance and best practices. Respond to and resolve complex escalations from employees, managers, vendors, and internal/external contact centers. Collaborate with legal teams, HR management, internal corporate functions, and external vendors to address and resolve complex and time-sensitive issues. Must-Have Qualifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical work experience. 5+ years of dedicated experience in leave of absence, return-to-work programs, ADA, extended medical leave programs, short-term disability, and long-term disability administration. Proven knowledge and experience with HR systems. Demonstrated experience working effectively with third-party disability and leave of absence administrators. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to execute high-quality work on schedule. A proactive approach to learning new processes and identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance existing practices. Ability to thrive in a lean, high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify the root cause of issues and propose effective resolutions to management. *Nice-to-Have Qualifications:** Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. Prior experience working within a high-volume HR environment. Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday and ServiceNow.
