About The Role The Space & Missions Systems Segment at L3Harris Technologies is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to support the Missile Defense and Engineering organizations within the Spectral Solutions division. This pivotal role involves partnering closely with business leaders to align human resources strategies with organizational goals. The HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations across multiple HR workstreams including staffing, leader development, compensation planning, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, change management, employee engagement, inclusion, and retention. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This role also involves collaborating with various internal teams and external stakeholders to support talent initiatives, leadership development, and organizational growth, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and operational objectives. Qualifications Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of experience. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of 13 years of related experience without a degree will also be considered. Preferred additional skills include strong business and HR acumen, problem-solving capabilities, critical thinking, and a proven track record of delivering results. The ability to influence, coach, and consult effectively at all organizational levels is essential. Experience in driving HR strategies related to performance management, employee engagement, retention, staffing, compensation, leadership coaching, and succession planning is highly valued. Candidates should also have experience supporting P&L organizations and geographically dispersed teams, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Employee relations and investigative experience are also preferred, as well as the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Responsibilities The HR Business Partner will partner directly with the division HR leader and leadership team to develop and implement strategies that enhance engagement, talent acquisition, development, and organizational effectiveness. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with leaders and employees, providing trusted counsel on organizational and employee matters, and proactively diagnosing challenges to deliver innovative solutions that improve employee engagement and drive business results. The role involves using metrics and analytics to inform decisions related to talent acquisition, retention, development, and inclusion. The HR Business Partner will collaborate with client groups to design and execute talent strategies aligned with business goals, including driving strategic initiatives in talent acquisition, leadership development, and succession planning to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders. Coaching and developing leadership capabilities to address human and technical aspects of the work environment is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, the incumbent will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence, Legal, Ethics, Environmental Health & Safety, and Security teams. The role may also involve leading or participating in high-impact projects across Spectral Solutions and the HR organization to foster continuous improvement and organizational excellence.
