Job Description
The HR Clerk's primary function for AZTECA ENTERPRISES, LLC., is essential to supporting the HR department with a variety of administrative tasks.This position is important to our firm and the fulfillment of the duties and responsibilities contributes to the overall success of the company.The purpose of this standard job description is to define the duties, authorities, and responsibilities of the HR Clerk.The HR Clerk's principal duty for AZTECA ENTERPRISES, LLC., is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department.This position handles all HR related administrative tasks, maintains up-to-date employee records, and provides general support to the HR team.DUTIES 1) Maintain employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.2) Copies and distributes pre-hire packets and all hiring materials.3) Collect and maintain employee files, such as applications, resumes, and other documents.4) Perform data entry and filing of all HR and some Accounting related documents.5) Assist with managing employee attendance records and vacation requests.6) Provide support to the HR team with various tasks as needed.7) Assist with the input all New Hires & Terminations into HR System.8) Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties 9) Coordinate HR projects (flyers, meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes.10) Create and oversee Monthly Newsletter 11) Verify and review Employee I-9's.12) Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all company records.13) Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.14) Front Desk administration.15) Assist our recruiters to source candidates and update our database.16) HR contact between field personnel and management for any work-related issues.17) Thorough knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance benefits.18) Screens and routes telephone calls and answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, payroll, benefits, training, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.19) Providing clerical and administrative support to executives, as needed.The HR Clerk's function is essential to the successful operation of staff.He/she must have the following Qualifications:1) A thorough knowledge and background in the construction industry.2) Maintain a high degree of integrity, loyalty, and honesty; not divulge to outside parties' information of a confidential nature pertaining to the company's operations.3) The ability to get along with people and to communicate in a professional manner with Team, Management, Employees, and others having a direct interest in HR matters.4) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships.5) Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.6) Ability to take initiative, work independently, and within a team setting.The HR Clerk's primary function for AZTECA ENTERPRISES, LLC., consists of the following:1) Front Desk liaison with visitors, applicants, and company staff.2) Ensure proper maintenance of employee files and information.3) Work within HR Team to make certain it meets all requirements..
