About The Role We are seeking a dedicated HR Professional to join our team, primarily responsible for supporting full-cycle recruitment efforts and employee development initiatives across the organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's growth by managing a high volume of requisitions for both salary and hourly positions, developing effective sourcing strategies, and supporting various HR programs such as training, performance management, and employee recognition. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a manufacturing environment, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to HR processes. This position is flexible for remote work within the East/Central U.S. time zones, with the ability to travel as needed to support company operations and initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salary roles Experience providing HR support within a manufacturing environment Strong sourcing skills utilizing platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed Administrative experience with ATS and LMS platforms, preferably ADP Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Experience in the corrugated industry is preferred Early adopter of technology for productivity and automation Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred Responsibilities Manage and prioritize a high volume of requisitions for both salary and hourly positions Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies, processes, and tools to attract top talent Support diverse sourcing strategies, including referral programs, job advertisements, direct sourcing, and industry partnerships Become an expert in the company’s ATS (ADP) to enhance recruitment workflows and train team members Assist in the administration and management of HR programs such as performance reviews, employee training, and recognition initiatives Participate in HR project management and continuous improvement efforts Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout all HR activities Benefits Competitive base salary with annual reviews Annual bonus program Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional development and career growth Supportive and inclusive company culture focused on employee well-being and empowerment Equal Opportunity Hood Container Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
