About The Role We are seeking an experienced and innovative Design Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. This role primarily focuses on the design and development of infrastructure for electric vehicles, wireless communication, and telecom. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed engineering designs, overseeing project implementation, and ensuring that all infrastructure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You will work on cutting-edge projects, including site modifications, tower upgrades, and EV infrastructure design, providing critical support to our construction and engineering teams. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field, coupled with at least five years of experience in design engineering within the construction industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar computer-assisted engineering software is required, along with a strong understanding of structural engineering principles. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, alongside strong problem-solving and creative thinking capabilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills are vital, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. A high level of attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a commitment to quality standards are also essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative design strategies for various construction projects, focusing on electric vehicle infrastructure, wireless communication, and telecom systems. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Inspect installations and observe operational procedures to verify adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards. Utilize computer-assisted engineering software such as AutoCAD to create detailed engineering drawings and models. Coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure projects meet all specifications, codes, and customer expectations. Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies for proposed systems and equipment, providing technical insights and recommendations. Oversee and manage site modifications and tower upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to project timelines. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, clients, and contractors, to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and budgetary requirements. Maintain and enhance professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning, attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
