Job Description
Human Resource Director Osborne Coinage Cincinnati, Ohio The Human Resources Director position will be overseeing and implementing company HR strategy and function with a strong emphasis on recruitment, HR policy administration, employee engagement, and Payroll support functions. This role plays an essential part in creating positive employee experience through leadership and vision to members of the executive teams, operations, and departmental managers, and building a highly functional human resources team. Responsibilities: Human Resources Director Direct and execute HR strategy that aligns with both the organization and parent company goals. Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees and vendors throughout the global organization. Partners with the leadership team to develop and execute the company’s Human Resources and Talent strategy particularly as it relates to current as well as future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Ensure compliance with employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA) Maintain and update employee handbook and regularly review HR Policies. Maintain HRIS (Paycor) and personnel records in accordance with record retention requirements. Coordinate the HR team’s efforts for company recruitment processes including but not limited to job postings, resume screening, phone interviews, and onsite interview scheduling. Ensure compensation policies remain compliant with all appropriate laws, and competitive in the marketplace; Makes recommendations for adjustment that are aligned with strategic objectives and philosophy. Serve as a trusted advisor to management and staff on HR-related issues. Investigate employee complaints and workplace concerns; recommend appropriate course of action in agreement with company policy. Assist with internal HR program communications, and interpretation of company policy. Works with employee benefits stakeholders on plan offerings, premiums and costs. Participates in annual renewals with Carriers and educates employees on changes and enhancements to benefit plans. Participates in the selection of Human Resources consultants, insurance brokers, carriers, 401(k) administrators, payroll providers, and other outside services. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related fields. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Minimum of 7 years of Progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities Thorough knowledge of employment law and payroll practices. Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
