The Human Resources Generalist supports the culture of Sea Island, focused on retention, development of team members and the processes that support this goal. The HR Generalist lives the vision, mission and values of Sea Island while supporting a variety of areas including internal communications, team member or community events, benefits and learning and development. You are creative, detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You possess excellent organizational skills and discretion when handling confidential information. You are positive, self-motivated, with an enthusiastic attitude. You are honest with the highest integrity and self-awareness. You are patient, empathetic, and are able to be of service to team member involving multiple variables in changing situations. You are a valuable contributor to the growth of the company and culture, which requires a knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. You support with the HR team to deliver seamless HR service focused on driving results that assist our Operations team to be successful in caring for our guests, members, and team members. You are an extremely perceptive person who can relate to individuals at all levels within the organization. You must be sensitive to operational needs and team member goodwill. Through your efforts, you are always focused on enriching the lives of all stakeholders. You can work with a variety of people and personality types and cooperate with co-workers efficiently and effectively. You are generous with your support and help resolve any service issues that arise in a timely and positive way, following up as needed. You are proactive in aiding when needed and are willing to help with other areas or duties as requested. You are resourceful and creative to aid in the growth and development of the department and Sea Island as a whole. You set the tone by consistently upholding and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures, including standards for quality, timing, attendance, and appearance. You follow and ensure all Sea Island safety protocols are consistently met. You maintain situational awareness of your surroundings, keeping an eye on all areas for appropriate staffing, tidiness, and any general maintenance issues, ensuring that all are corrected or reported immediately. You enthusiastically maintain your knowledge of Sea Island’s properties, services, and offerings, and share this information with guests, members and team members. You are proactive in helping when needed and are willing to help with other areas or duties as requested. The HR Generalist will support various areas of the Human Resources department and provide on going to support to support the Team Member experience.
