Overview We are partnering on a confidential search for an experienced HR Manager to support a multi-site operational environment in the Seattle market. This role will serve as a strategic and hands-on business partner to field leadership, driving employee relations, labor strategy, and workforce performance in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership presence, sound judgment, and the ability to influence within complex, often unionized environments. Key Responsibilities Business Partnership & Leadership Support Partner closely with regional and station leadership to align HR strategies with operational and business objectives Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and talent needs Act as a trusted advisor to leaders navigating complex employee and labor matters Employee & Labor Relations Lead and manage complex employee relations issues, including workplace investigations and disciplinary actions Provide expert guidance on labor relations, policy interpretation, and compliance matters Support union-related matters including grievances, investigations, and response strategies Talent & Performance Management Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support hiring strategies and workforce planning Support performance management processes including coaching, feedback, and development planning Partner with Learning & Development to implement training and leadership initiatives Compliance & HR Operations Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (including WA-specific regulations) Maintain awareness of evolving labor regulations, trends, and best practices Support change management initiatives tied to organizational transformation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner capacity Strong experience managing employee relations and workplace investigations Experience supporting unionized environments strongly preferred Proven ability to influence and partner with leaders across multiple locations Physical Working Conditions This role is based in an onsite office environment Requires extended periods of sitting and working at a computer Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Occasional lifting of light office materials (up to 15 lbs.) may be required Monthly travel required to support regional operations as primary HR Manager.
