Hood Packaging Corporation is currently recruiting a Human Resources Manager for our Arden Hills and Roseville, MN facilities. The Human Resources Manager manages and administers a range of HR programs and services covering health & safety, employment/employee relations, recruitment, training and development and compensation and benefits. The position requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Company policies and employment laws. Functional Responsibilities Responsible for managing the Human Resources function and the support staff. Recruit, develop and retain quality associates at designated staffing levels. Policy and procedure development and implementation. Wage, salary and benefit administration. Union contract negotiation and administration. Maintain HR Report for three sites and report to the corporate office monthly. Maintain employee files - electronic and paper. Provide new employees with new hire documentation and assist with filling out forms; explain procedures and benefits; set up employee in HRIS, Payroll and time & attendance systems.
