About the Role We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role serves as our go to people expert in our Pittsburg office while coordinating with our global teams, including our office in India, to build a world class, employer of choice for current and new team members alike. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and supporting business growth through HR initiatives, while facilitating management HR policies and procedures, onboarding and talent acquisition and functioning as the on-site administrator for the office. The ideal candidate will have experience in general HR and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, fun environment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee terminations, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure development and adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human capital needs. Key Responsibilities: Human Resources Duties: Recruitment and Onboarding Manage the recruitment process from job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection. Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and ensure proper onboarding for new employees. Partner with managers to understand hiring needs and provide strategic HR support in talent acquisition while managing our approved budget for hiring. Employee Relations Serve as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, questions, and conflicts in our Pittsburg office. Provide coaching and counseling to employees and management regarding workplace issues, policies, and procedures. Help mediate conflicts and promote a positive, inclusive and fun work environment. Performance Management : Support the performance review process and assist managers with goal-setting, performance assessments, and feedback. Track and ensure compliance with employee performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and goal setting. Compliance and Policy Administration : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Update and maintain company policies and employee handbooks, communicating changes to employees. Assist with audit processes related to HR functions, including employee records, benefits, and compliance. Payroll and Benefits Administration : Work closely with the payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation as needed. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401K, and leave management and worker’s compensation through our PEO. HR Reporting and Systems: Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on employee demographics, turnover, and other HR metrics. Analyze HR data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. Participate in implementation of our new global HRIS system. Organizational Development: Support and facilitate all phases of organizational changes including processing transactions in HR systems such as promotions, hires, terms, and org changes. Qualifications: Education Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus. Experience Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a Senior HR generalist role. Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and employee relations.
