Human Resources Manager Location : Northen New Jersey (Hybrid) Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 Base Salary Based in Northen New Jersey, we are a well-established multi-office professional services firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee firmwide HR operations across the organization. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who values strategic partnership with leadership operational excellence and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment. Responsibilities Oversee all firmwide human resource functions including continuous evaluation and improvement of HR policies and procedures while managing recruiting hiring development and retention programs in compliance with federal and state employment laws with accuracy and efficiency Manage employee relations matters including conflict resolution issue management and leave of absence compliance while supervising non-exempt administrative and clerical staff across departments Coordinate with HR leadership and benefits teams on firmwide benefit programs including 401(k) and profit-sharing plans while assessing staffing needs and maintaining appropriate staffing ratios Support onboarding and integration of new attorneys and staff maintain and update job descriptions and provide regular HR reporting and updates to Managing Partners and HR leadership Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience; HR certifications such as SHRM-CP SHRM-SCP SPHR or PHR a plus 5+ years of progressive HR experience within a law firm or professional services environment; prior law firm experience strongly preferred Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment Strong knowledge of employment laws HR policies and compliance requirements with proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with partners attorneys and staff Join Us This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional seeking a firmwide leadership role, mentorship and long-term stability.
