Job Description
The Human Resources Recruiter plays a key role in attracting, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates for assigned departments. This position supports the full recruitment cycle, processes new‑hire documentation, coordinates orientation and training, and represents the organization at career fairs and community events. The recruiter also provides administrative support to the HR department and helps ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Recruit, screen, and interview applicants for assigned departments. Refer qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate follow‑up interviews. Conduct phone screenings and schedule interview appointments. Complete reference checks for qualified applicants. Extend job offers to selected candidates. Process all new‑hire paperwork and create employee files. Ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted. Issue Employee Handbooks and schedule new‑hire orientation and training. Represent the organization at job fairs, recruiting events, and other outreach activities. Process staff change paperwork for assigned departments. Assist with filing and general HR administrative tasks. Perform other related duties as needed. Qualifications Previous recruitment or general HR experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to problem‑solve and follow tasks through to completion. Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience using Indeed in a recruitment capacity, preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain Criminal Record Clearance. Alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, values, and philosophy supporting at‑risk children and families. Must maintain eligibility to work under federal and/or state mental health–funded programs.
