This position is based on enrollment. There is a possibility this course and any short-term teaching position will not be taught during the semester or academic year based on enrollment needs. Job Duties Develop and teach courses Advise students with regard to academic concerns and school-related organizations May Provide service related teaching duties Participate in the decision relation to the policies, courses, and programs which there is involvement Continuing personal growth within the profession, keep current with the field and broaden knowledge and expertise. Other Openings Deliver high-quality instruction to undergraduate students in coursework in the fields of English, Criminal Justice, History/Political Science, etc. This position will assist in the development of department goals and objectives; advise students; and support research and community outreach in the areas of discipline. The responsibilities also include developing and maintaining strong ties to the other scholars in the field, enriching the student experience and supporting student employment opportunities. The position requires regular office hours.
