Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic HVAC Field Controls Technician to join our team and drive excellence in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex control systems within industrial and manufacturing environments. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Duties Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot HVAC control systems including sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and vision inspection systems. Perform maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components to ensure system reliability and efficiency. Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, AutoCAD drawings, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Use precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters and calibration tools to verify system performance and adherence to specifications. Conduct field service activities including system upgrades, repairs, sensor calibration, and high voltage work while adhering to safety standards. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize control system performance and support continuous process improvements. Document all service activities thoroughly in logs and reports; communicate effectively with customers regarding system status and solutions. Experience Proven experience working as an industrial electrician or in industrial maintenance with a strong background in HVAC controls. Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, sensors, calibration procedures, schematics interpretation, and precision measurement instruments. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), Calypso software or similar platforms. Experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical systems within manufacturing or industrial settings. Knowledge of mechanical systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, CNC machinery, vision inspection systems, and automation equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently in field service environments. Military experience or certifications related to electrical or mechanical fields are highly desirable for this role.
