Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure our clients enjoy optimal comfort and efficient operation of their systems. Duties Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance systems to ensure peak performance Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC system diagrams for accurate installation and troubleshooting Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment; repair or replace faulty components Assist with ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) setups involving specialized knowledge of refrigerants and safety protocols Collaborate with team members on property maintenance projects; ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Operate a driver vehicle safely when transporting equipment or materials between sites Requirements Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on HVAC installation or service technician experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge including plumbing, refrigeration, boiler systems, and appliance repair Ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately; familiarity with electrical wiring is a plus Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding, ammonia refrigeration systems, and boiler maintenance Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, air conditioning units, property maintenance practices, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating driver vehicles preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure in field service environments Certifications in HVAC or related fields are advantageous; ongoing training is encouraged to stay current with industry standards Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-tier HVAC solutions!
