Position Summary: The Residential HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating and cooling systems in customers’ homes. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, technically skilled, and able to deliver professional and trustworthy service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air handlers, condensers, mini-splits, and thermostats Perform routine maintenance services such as tune-ups, inspections, and system performance checks Provide customers with clear explanations of issues, options, and recommendations Install replacement components, equipment, and accessories as needed Complete accurate service tickets, documentation, and recommendations Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices Communicate effectively with homeowners, dispatch, and team members Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and standards Qualifications: 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong training will be considered). EPA 608 Certification required Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC systems Ability to read wiring diagrams and service schematics Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Valid driv
