Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hybrid Administrative Assistant with a focus on Bookkeeping and Entry-Level Accounting to join our team.This role offers a unique opportunity to support office management, handle bookkeeping tasks, and provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, office experience, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.Bilingual skills are a plus (but not required), as well as experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.This position is essential for maintaining smooth office operations while gaining valuable experience in administrative and accounting functions.Responsibilities Manage front desk duties including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Perform data entry, filing, and proofreading to ensure accuracy of records and documents Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record maintenance Support office management activities including calendar management, appointment scheduling, and organizing meetings Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and customer support skills Assist with administrative tasks such as document preparation, copying, scanning, and maintaining organized filing systems Support medical or dental receptionist duties if applicable, including patient check-in/out processes Handle clerical responsibilities with efficiency, including typing reports and managing office supplies Contribute to team efforts by supporting personal assistant tasks or other administrative duties as needed Qualifications 1-3years in an administrative assistant / operations support role Proven office management or administrative experience with strong organizational skills Intermediate to advance in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is highly desirable Excellent computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly Strong typing skills along with attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks Prior experience in customer service or as a receptionist Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Good communication skills demonstrating professional phone etiquette and customer support capabilities Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives Fast learner and desire to grow STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL What we're looking for Detail-obsessed:you catch errors before they become problems Resourceful proactive:you research, troubleshoot, and come with solutions/options Strong communicator:clear writing, confident phone/video communication, professional tone Organized under pressure:can juggle multiple priorities without dropping details Accountable:you follow through and close loops Nice-to-haves Experience in a tax/accounting/bookkeeping firm or professional services Experience building/maintaining SOPs and improving workflows Compensation $15/hour during training 30-day probation period After 30 days:$15/hour continues, and commission begins Commission (project load) Commission is earned based on project load.As you demonstrate you can successfully take on additional accounting/bookkeeping projects and client workload, you'll receive commission in addition to your hourly base.This role offers an engaging environment where you can develop your administrative and accounting skills while contributing to the efficiency of our office operations.We value proactive individuals who are eager to learn and grow within our organization.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time, Temp-to-hire Pay:$15.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours:20.0 - 40.0 per week Work Location:In person.
