Loss Mitigation Closer (Hybrid) Location : Fishers, IN Schedule : Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Schedule Structure First 2 weeks: Remote training Post‑training: Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days remote) Start Date: June 15 We are hiring a Loss Mitigation Closer to support mortgage servicing operations with a primary focus on loss mitigation claims, including FHA and VA‑related work. This role is ideal for someone with mortgage industry experience who is detail‑oriented and comfortable working across both front‑end and back‑end closing processes. Role Overview The Loss Mitigation Closer will support the preparation, review, execution, and tracking of loss mitigation documents. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of closing packages. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process mailing labels for overnight document packages Review executed documents to ensure all signatures, dates, and notarizations are complete Submit documents to management for final signatures and notarization Open and manage Foreclosure close and bill tasks Process payment reversals and monitor daily funds received reports Track documents sent for recording and follow up on recording status Submit partial claims to FHA vendors and track receipt of recorded documents Mail executed loan modification documents to clients, borrowers, and investors Submit required documentation to the Claims department Ensure all required documents are included in Short Sale and Deed in Lieu closing packages Complete post‑closing audits to confirm proper signatures and notarizations Verify, upload, and index documents in the imaging system Provide closing status updates to internal and external partners Communicate with attorneys, title companies, authorized agents, vendors, and homeowners Process invoices, address billing questions, and coordinate resolution with Accounting Ensure Deed in Lieu documents are recorded properly and resolve rejected recordings Workflow Structure This role will support either front‑end or back‑end loss mitigation workflows: Front End: Ordering documents, reviewing approval terms, and tracking documents for customer execution Back End: Reviewing returned documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper execution Qualifications Mortgage industry experience strongly preferred (loss mitigation, servicing, closing, claims, or related functions) Strong attention to detail and ability to review legal and financial documents accurately Comfortable managing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment #eastpriority26 Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fishers, IN. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
