Benefits Eligible: No Work Schedule: Flexible Schedule Travel: Not required Position Introduction: OU’s Institute of Child Development (ICD) Laboratory Preschool is looking for part-time teacher aides. The responsibilities for this position include: Assisting in the classroom where needed; Engaging in high quality interaction with children and families; Promoting children’s learning and development; Supporting the needs of children, families, and other staff at the ICD; Helping to maintain classroom ratio; Assisting in providing a calm and positive learning environment for children, providing office assistance; Aiding with daily school operations (e.g., assisting with food preparation; Giving teachers breaks, setting up classroom learning environments, doing laundry, cleaning, etc.). The hours may vary, but will likely be: Either a morning shift (8:30am - 12:30pm) or an afternoon shift (1:00pm - 5:00pm) Monday through Friday. This position will be for the Spring OU academic calendar. Must pass a comprehensive post-offer, pre-employment criminal and fingerprint background check, and a continued successful status will be verified by periodic future background checks. Required Education and Experience: Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma. After hire, the worker will need Infant & Child CPR/First Aid Certification; Infant Safe Sleep Training; Food Preparation and Diapering Training.
