Ice Cream Cake Maker / Cake Decorator

Job Overview:Dairy Queen is looking for a creative and self-driven Ice Cream Cake Maker/Decorator to take charge of our ice cream cake department.This is a solo role ideal for someone who enjoys independent work, has a creative touch, and takes pride in product quality.Responsibilities:Make and decorate DQ ice cream cakes to brand standards Fulfill special cake orders with custom designs and messages Manage weekly cake production based on demand Keep cake freezer stocked and organized Maintain a clean and food-safe work area Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are low Work independently and efficiently during early hours Ensure consistency and quality in all products Requirements:Previous cake decorating or food prep experience is required Strong attention to detail and creative flair Self-motivated and reliable, able to manage workload independently Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs Comfortable working morning hours Basic food safety knowledge preferred (ServSafe certification a plus) Benefits:Flexible morning schedule Consistent part-time hours Fun and creative work environment Opportunity to expand skills in food service and decoration Employee discounts Compensation:Hourly pay based on experience -- discussed during interview Ready to create cakes that make people smile?
