Job OverviewJoin our vibrant team as a Seasonal Ice Cream Scooper/Team Member and bring joy to customers through delicious treats and exceptional service! Although seasonal there are opportunities for permanent positions based on performance.We are interested in candidates available in the Hilton head, SC area to cover opening shifts 11am on.In this energetic role, you'll be the face of our brand, creating memorable experiences by serving up ice cream with a smile.Your enthusiasm, quick thinking, and attention to detail will help ensure every guest leaves happy and eager to return.Whether you're handling food prep, operating POS systems, or maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, your contribution will be vital in delivering top-notch food service in a fast-paced setting.Duties Serve ice cream and other frozen treats efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Operate POS systems such as square to process transactions accurately and quickly Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience Prepare food items according to company standards, including scooping, topping, and packaging orders Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment through regular sanitation and bussing Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math for change calculation Support team members in food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast food environments is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Experience working in a caf , retail store, grocery store, or restaurant environment is beneficial Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift light loads, and perform repetitive tasks Join us to create delightful moments for our guests while developing your skills in a dynamic food industry environment.We're dedicated to supporting your growth and ensuring you have a fun, rewarding experience every day!
