Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly, energetic service. Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream treats, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales swiftly and accurately. Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures with precision. Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, counters, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks like scooping ice cream, topping creations, and basic food handling to support kitchen operations. Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred; familiarity with quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy hours. Experience with food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Must be reliable, energetic, detail-oriented, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
