Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced ICU RN (Registered Nurse) to provide high-quality critical care at a partner facility in Globe, AZ. As an ICU RN, you will care for high-acuity adult patients with complex, life-threatening conditions in a fast-paced intensive care environment. You will perform comprehensive assessments, continuously monitor hemodynamic status, and promptly respond to changes in patient conditions using critical thinking and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include managing ventilators and advanced airways, titrating vasoactive drips and other high-risk medications, interpreting cardiac rhythms and lab results, and collaborating closely with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and the broader interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans. You will administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards, maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record, and adhere to strict infection control and patient safety protocols. The role involves coordinating complex care, supporting patients and families through critical illnesses, providing clear education and emotional support, and participating in rapid responses and code situations. You will also contribute to unit-based quality improvement efforts, follow ICU best practices such as sepsis bundles, sedation and delirium protocols, and early mobility initiatives, and help foster a culture of safety and collaboration.
