Job Description
A company is looking for an Associate Legal Counsel to provide legal support across various commercial, corporate, compliance, and regulatory matters. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters with guidance from senior attorneys Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts under the direction of more senior attorneys Support M&A transactions and significant litigation, working closely with outside counsel and senior internal counsel Required Qualifications Juris Doctor degree from a fully accredited U.S. law school License to practice law in the state of Illinois At least 3 years of post-Juris Doctor legal experience, ideally with law firm and in-house counsel exposure Demonstrated experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
