Illinois Real Estate Wholesaling - Paralegal / Legal Assistant

We are a fast-paced Illinois real estate law firm seeking an experienced Paralegal or Legal Assistant with knowledge of Illinois real estate, specifically wholesaling, double closings, assignments, investor transactions, and title/closing coordination. This position is ideal for someone who understands the urgency and moving parts involved in investor transactions and can help keep files moving efficiently from contract to closing. Responsibilities including the draft and review of: Purchase contracts Assignment agreements Double closing documents Addendums Additional responsibilities include coordination and prompt communication with: Title companies Realtors Sellers and buyers Lenders and municipalities Track closing deadlines and contingencies Assist with municipal requirements Maintain communication with clients regarding file status and updates Handle high-volume investor transactions with strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications with prior experience in: Illinois real estate law Wholesaling transactions Double closings Investor-focused real estate files Assignment contracts Municipal inspections and transfer requirements Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize urgent matters and work in a fast-paced environment Experience with Salesforce, Smokeball or similar platforms is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits Free parking Opportunities for advancement Paid sick time Work from home Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chicago, IL 60607
