Schedule:30-40 hours availableDays of the week change, but consistent 3-4 days in a row (8am-6pm)1 Weekend per month overnight (8am Friday to 6pm Sunday, occasionally 6PM monday)$26.50 per hour for Days$21.15 per hour Overnight We are looking for someone to provide Personal Assistance and companionship for a young man with special needs.Personal Assistance enables this individual to accomplish tasks with help.You will teach and encourage him to do tasks on his own so that he can eventually do them independently.You will observe, guide and train during all activities.Personal Assistant tasks include, but are not limited to:prepare meals, assist with eating/drinking, bathroom functions/incontinence, bathing/grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, wound care, CPAP and feeding tube management, transfers, ensure safety and wellbeing.You will provide companionship and emotional support through playing games, fishing, reading books, color, paint, crafts and stickers etc.Preform light household duties:keep wheelchair and tray clean, wash dishes, wash bedding etc.Employees will be required to pass a background check pre-hire, drug test, complete yearly TB screening, and complete and online training, as per Medicaid guidelines.Pay:$26.50 per hour Expected hours:30.0 - 40.0 per week Application Question(s):Why do you feel like you'd be a good fit for this job?
