Location: In-Home (Client Residences) Shifts Available: Day Shift & Overnight (10–12 hour shifts) About Us We are a specialized in-home healthcare agency dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for older adults, with a focus on individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Our approach centers dignity, consistency, and relationship-based care, supporting not just our clients, but their families as well. Position Overview We are seeking experienced, dependable, and emotionally intelligent caregivers to join our team full-time. This role requires hands-on support for elderly clients in their homes, with an emphasis on memory care, safety, and daily living assistance. This is not a passive caregiving role, our specialists are active participants in maintaining quality of life, reducing confusion and agitation, and creating a calm, structured environment. Key Responsibilities Provide personalized in-home care for elderly clients, including those with Alzheimer’s and dementia Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility Prepare meals aligned with dietary needs and preferences Support medication reminders (per care plan; no administration unless licensed) Monitor and document changes in behavior, cognition, and physical health Use proven dementia-care techniques to reduce anxiety, agitation, and confusion Engage clients in meaningful activities (conversation, light movement, memory stimulation) Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment Communicate consistently with family members and care coordinators Qualifications Minimum 1–2 years of experience in geriatric care (required) Experience working with Alzheimer’s and/or dementia patients (strongly preferred) Certification in dementia care, CNA, HHA, or similar (preferred but not required) Ability to handle behavioral challenges with patience and professionalism Strong observation and communication skills Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers when needed Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ideal Candidate Traits Calm, grounded presence under pressure Naturally observant and attentive to subtle changes Respectful, patient, and emotionally steady Understands that memory care requires flexibility and intuition, not just routine Values dignity and autonomy for every client Schedule & Compensation Full-time position; part-time shifts available 10–12 hour shifts (day and overnight availability required) Competitive pay based on experience and certifications Opportunities for ongoing training and advancement in dementia care specialization Why Join Us Work in a focused, specialized care environment Build meaningful, long-term relationships with clients Gain advanced experience in dementia and Alzheimer’s care Be part of a team that prioritizes both caregiver support and client well-being We are not just hiring caregivers, we are building a team of specialists who understand the depth and responsibility of memory care.
