In-House Video Producer & Editor - Plastic Surgery Office Hourly:Depends on experience Location:Newport Beach, CA (In-office only) Schedule:Full-time Important:This is a full-time employee role.We are not hiring freelancers, contractors, or agencies for this position.Portfolio Requirement (must be included in your application):Please include a link to your portfolio (Reels/Shorts/TikTok/website).Applications without a portfolio link will not be considered.About the Role We're looking for a In-House Video Producer who is creative, fast, detail-oriented, and highly capable behind the camera and in the editing process.This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about turning everyday moments, patient education, behind-the-scenes content, and procedure-related footage into polished social media content.You should be comfortable filming in a real clinical setting, editing short-form videos, and helping us maintain a strong visual presence across Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms.We're looking for someone who takes initiative, notices content opportunities in real time, stays plugged into social media trends, and brings ideas to the table rather than waiting to be told exactly what to film.You'll work closely with our marketing team to produce content that feels polished, engaging, and aligned with a premium plastic surgery brand.We produce social-first content with professional production standards (clean audio, controlled lighting, polished framing, and fast turnaround).Key Responsibilities Social Media Filming & Editing Film and produce high-quality short-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms Capture behind-the-scenes footage, provider content, educational material, office moments, and campaign-related content Consistently improve shoot quality by adjusting lighting, angles, and environment to achieve a polished, premium look Edit short-form videos with strong pacing, clean cuts, captions, sound, and visual polish Stay current on social media trends, editing styles, platform features, and short-form storytelling formats, and apply relevant ideas in a way that fits the brand Proactively bring new content ideas, trending formats, hooks, and platform-native editing approaches for upcoming posts and shoots Assist with content planning, shot lists, and creative direction for upcoming shoots Organize raw footage and help maintain an efficient content library Help ensure consistent visual quality and brand presentation across all content Social Media Support Assist with publishing and organizing content across platforms Help monitor social media activity, including comments and direct messages when needed Support YouTube and Vimeo uploads and basic optimization, including titles, descriptions, thumbnails, tags, and playlists Help track content performance and identify what is working What You Bring Experience in filming and editing content for social media Strong understanding of short-form video content and what performs well on platforms like Instagram and YouTube Strong awareness of current social media trends, platform behavior, and evolving editing styles Ability to recognize relevant hooks, pacing, caption treatments, and content formats that fit different platforms Self-starter mindset with the ability to notice what content should be captured and take action without constant direction Ability to shoot clean, stable, well-framed footage using phone and/or camera equipment Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools Good eye for pacing, composition, lighting, and social-first storytelling Strong organizational skills and ability to manage raw footage, drafts, and deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person environment Reliable, observant, and able to take direction while also contributing ideas Portfolio Requirement A portfolio is required to be considered for this position.Please include examples of social media videos, filmed content, edited reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, or other relevant visual work.The portfolio should demonstrate strong instincts for short-form storytelling, pacing, and editing styles relevant to today's social media landscape.Applicants without a portfolio will not be considered.Finalists will complete a short practical test (filming a 30-45 second edit).Preferred Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in content creation, social media production, video editing, or a related creative role Experience creating content for a brand, business, agency, or creator account Familiarity with plastic surgery, aesthetics, beauty, fashion, luxury, or medical content is a plus Comfortable using AI tools as part of a content workflow Basic photography skills are a plus Education Degree not required We welcome candidates with hands-on experience, strong creative instincts, and a solid portfolio, including those with nontraditional backgrounds Pay:From $25.00 per hour Benefit
