Job Description
Position Summary The In-Store Sales Associate serves as a key customer-facing representative responsible for delivering an exceptional showroom experience. This role engages walk-in customers, manages inbound and outbound communications, schedules in-home consultations, and supports overall showroom operations. The In-Store Sales Associate is customer-focused, results-driven, and capable of balancing sales support with administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing product demonstrations and guidance tailored to customer needs. Schedule in-home consultations for prospective customers generated through showroom traffic and outbound outreach. Conduct outbound calls to assigned leads to generate and confirm appointments. Support local marketing efforts by participating in networking events, trade shows, and promotional activities, as needed. Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Maintain showroom presentation, cleanliness, and product readiness. Accurately document customer interactions, appointments, and activities within the company’s CRM/database system. Support management with administrative and operational tasks as required. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written). Ability to learn product knowledge and sales processes quickly. Professional appearance and adherence to business casual dress standards. Willingness to be coached and continuously improve performance. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. 1–3 years of experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Regularly required to sit, talk, or listen; occasionally required to stand and move throughout the building.
