Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Provider to join our practice as an Independent Contractor. This fully virtual position offers the flexibility to work remotely within the DMV area while providing meaningful mental health support to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities Provide virtual individual and/or family therapy services to clients located in the DMV area Complete intake assessments, progress notes, and other clinical documentation in a timely and ethical manner Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as needed Collaborate with the practice owner regarding clinical care and coordination when appropriate Attend supervision if provisionally licensed Maintain compliance with state regulations, ethical standards, and practice policies Independently manage scheduling, caseload, and workflow as an independent contractor Qualifications Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field Active or provisional licensure in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, DC Provisionally licensed clinicians are welcome; supervision is available Experience providing therapy services, preferably through telehealth Strong interpersonal and communication skills Cultural humility and a commitment to working with diverse communities Interest in integrating faith/spirituality into care when appropriate is a plus Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and clinical responsibility Reliable internet connection and access to a private, confidential workspace Compensation & Perks Flexible scheduling with the ability to create a schedule that fits your needs Agency and autonomy over your caseload, availability, and clinical focus Referrals and marketing support Administrative support for billing, scheduling, and EHR systems Ongoing consultation , collaboration, and clinical support as needed Clinical supervision available for provisionally licensed clinicians Opportunity to work within a culturally responsive, relational, and supportive practice environment Compensation - Competitive percentage-based compensation that increases over time based on experience, consistency, and performance Contract Type This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, liability insurance, and benefits.
