Independent Living Specialist

Southwest Center for Independence is now hiring an Independent Living Specialist (ILS-Gen) to assist individuals with disabilities in developing and implementing Independent Living Plans and provide services such as information and referral, advocacy, peer support, and skills training. This position involves spending approximately 80% of work hours providing direct community-based services to individuals with disabilities and is primarily in-person, with some flexibility for remote work. This position is a part-time, non-exempt position paying $22.11/hour and offers a variety of benefits including our generous holiday and PTO package and free EAP services.
