Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Independent Sub Contractors in one or multiple disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, painting, flooring installation, drywall repair, and kitchen or bathroom remodeling to join our team.In this role, you will operate as an autonomous professional responsible for executing one or multiple tasks.Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential, commercial, or industrial builds, renovations, and restorations.This position offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while working on diverse projects that demand precision and efficiency.Subcontractors are expected to complete high quality work in a safe, timely, and professional manner while meeting project specifications, building codes, and customer expectations.In this role you will be operating Independently with your own tools and will also be expected to invoice customers.Responsibilities Electricians Install, repair, and upgrade wiring, outlets, switches, fixtures, panels, and other electrical systems Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure code compliance Plumbers Install and repair water lines, drains, fixtures, water heaters, and plumbing systems Diagnose leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues Carpenters Frame, build, install, and repair walls, cabinetry, trim, doors, windows, and other wood structures Perform finish carpentry and custom woodwork as needed Roofers Remove and install shingles, flashing, underlayment, and other roofing materials Inspect roofs for damage and make repairs to prevent leaks and structural issues Painters Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming Apply paint, stain, or coatings to interior and exterior surfaces with quality finishes Qualifications Proven experience in one or more home improvement trades Knowledge of residential construction practices, materials, and methods Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and trade specific equipment safely and effectively Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and written scopes of work Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Strong communication and problem solving skills Trade license or certification where required by law General liability insurance and workers compensation coverage, if applicable Experience working as an independent subcontractor on residential projects OSHA or other safety training certifications Ability to perform multiple trades is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift heavy materials for extended periods Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and site conditions Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more, depending on trade requirements Work Environment Residential homes, renovation sites, occupied and unoccupied properties Exposure to dust, debris, noise, ladders, tools, and construction materials May require evening or weekend work depending on project schedules Compensation Pay is per completed project which you invoice and a percent off of the job will go to employer.Additional Requirements Must provide own tools and equipment unless otherwise agreed Must follow all contractor policies, safety procedures, and project deadlines Must maintain professional conduct and appearance on all job sites This role is ideal for self-motivated professionals who thrive working independently on varied projects.If you possess a broad skill set across one or multiple trades within the industry and are eager to contribute your expertise in a flexible environment--this opportunity is perfect for you!
